- About 4 hours per charge A 418 Wh battery at 28.8 V runs about 4 hours with no load, against about 1.5 hours on the standard Black Panther X.
- About 50 N·m joints Its 12 joints reach about 50 N·m of torque, against about 33 N·m on the standard edition, at the same 4 m/s top speed, 20 cm climbs and 30° slopes.
- About 8 kg of payload It carries about 8 kg on its expansion dock and perception head, where the standard edition takes about 5 kg, leaving room for an on-board computer, sensors and custom payloads.
- The same 200+ module build Like the standard edition it is made of over 200 functional modules with 12 independent joints, each one removable, replaceable and upgradeable.
- Open for development Interfaces, shells and code are open, with a motion-control SDK, graphical programming, app control and reinforcement-learning training of gaits and motions.
- Built without special tools Standardised modules with unified interfaces go together without specialist tools, following MirrorMe's assembly manual and drawings.
Description
The MirrorMe Black Panther X Pro (BPX-PRO) is the long-runtime edition of MirrorMe's build-it-yourself robot dog. It keeps the Black Panther X's modular design of more than 200 functional modules, with 12 independent high-performance joints, an open perception head and an expansion dock, and steps up to a 418 Wh battery for about 4 hours per charge.
Its joints reach about 50 N·m and it carries about 8 kg, against about 33 N·m and 5 kg on the standard edition, with the same top speed of 4 m/s, 20 cm climbs and 30° slopes. It weighs 17.5 kg and measures 660 × 390 × 480 mm standing.
That headroom is what longer lab sessions and heavier sensor payloads need. A university team running locomotion or reinforcement-learning experiments, or a developer mounting a computer, LiDAR and cameras, gets the same open interfaces, shells and code as the standard edition, with more time and load to work with.
For first builds in a classroom where 1.5 hours per charge is enough, the standard Black Panther X uses the same build with a 167 Wh battery.

More battery, torque and payload: 418 Wh for about 4 hours instead of 167 Wh and 1.5 hours, about 50 N·m joints instead of 33 N·m, and about 8 kg of payload instead of 5 kg. It weighs 17.5 kg (15.1 kg for the standard Black Panther X) and is 390 mm wide instead of 370 mm. The modular build, 4 m/s top speed, 20 cm climbs and 30° slopes are the same.
Teams that need longer sessions or heavier payloads: university labs running locomotion or reinforcement-learning experiments, developers mounting a computer, LiDAR or cameras, and classrooms that use one robot for a whole day of lessons.
The Black Panther X family is designed to be assembled by its owner from standardised modules, without special tools and with MirrorMe's assembly manual and drawings. MirrorMe also offers it pre-assembled; whether your unit ships as a kit or assembled is confirmed with your order.
Its expansion dock and open perception head take third-party sensors, cameras and payloads, up to about 8 kg in all. Adding a LiDAR and an external computer such as an NVIDIA Jetson Orin or a Raspberry Pi is how teams make the remote-controlled base autonomous.
Through MirrorMe's motion-control SDK, graphical programming or the app. Interfaces, shells and code are open, so gaits, control logic and reinforcement-learning-trained motions can all be your own.
